In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. (James 2:17)
Weight loss is a journey of faith and action. The two paired together makes your journey a success. Faith requires us to step out without seeing or knowing what the outcome will be and regardless of the challenges we face, keep going!
You can believe that you will lose weight all day long, but if there is no action or plan behind your faith, you will not lose the weight.
Action=eating the right foods, exercising your body, reading scriptures that will strengthen your will, resisting the temptation to stray from your eating plan, being accountable to others, walking instead of driving to destinations that are within walking distance, talking to others who have been successful and incorporating the things you learn into your plan, praying to God about your weight loss efforts.
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
You may not see the weight falling off, but it will if you believe and you accompany your belief with the action required, your goals will become a reality.
